Latest News
Welcome to 2017. This year we declare that tis is the year that "It's All Going To Come Together." This year we will see God continue to bless our families and neighborhood. This is going to be a year full of God's anointing and healing in all areas of our lives. We find God's blessings being poured out on Baltimore and especially in our community. For instance we were able to bless our community through our Food Pantry. Yes I said Food Pantry which is now open on 1st and 3rd Saturday from 11 AM -1 PM as we are able to serve. In the letter of James we read, “What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.“ (James 2:14-17) Clearly we wouldn’t be exercising faith in God if we did not meet people’s need when possible. As part of our mission to the community we will be a host site for Turn Around Tuesday. Turn Around Tuesday is a job preparation and placement operation. In today’s employment economy we see that it is hard to find and for some to retain employment. That’s were we come in Turn Around Tuesday will be here for you and we will be providing more info on that in the coming days.
